Ed spoke of the Annual Meeting.  90 attended with Regina doing a terrific job in her presentation.

Suggestions and comments were – “some felt elections were rail-roaded thru” – “make elections a separate process” – “have an open period before elections to allow write-ins” – “send out pre-election enews alerts to show who is running” - “pay High School cattery to work and then profits go to local teams “

We will continue to evolve in this process.

MEMBERSHIP:  CARL

Solstice Run planned for Friday the 21st.  Plan is to follow previous years and meet at Golden Gardens for a social run through Discovery Park and back to the beach for food.  Invite to go out on the 22nd of May.

Annual Picnic to be combined with the Meet of Miles this July to bring additional spectatorship to the meet as well as limit overbooking people’s busy summer schedules.  The Membership Committee has typically hosted a potluck picnic so we can work with Bill and team to support/plan whatever needs to be handled from the food perspective.

Sunday Runs happening through the 4th of July.  After this point we will take our summer hiatus and continue Sunday runs post-Labor Day.

Membership to date including Listed family members 550 (there may be several additional members under the “family membership” but names were not listed).

Tom Cotner (running for him), To get faster & compete at higher level, All-Comers and the kids involved, to “join the community of runners”; interested in being a part of the fun excitement of what CNW represents for the running community, and race entry discounts.
