Meeting called to order at 7:41 by President T.P.


Minutes/Nick Fleming

Minutes from the December, January and February meetings were on hand. All three months were approved. Motion to accept made by Ed, and seconded by Tony. 


Financial Report/Rob Cook

We have $85.77 in checking and $606.00 in savings. No C/D money.


Northwest Runner Report/ Brian Oster

  • Martin handed Rob a check for $1,308.00 first check in several months.
  • Sales of Northwest Runner remain strong. If you don’t have a copy of the February issue get one it is one of the best.   


Events/Pro-Motion/Brian Oster

  • Winter Grand Prix on the 20th of February had 130 finishers.
  • March 27th Spring Break in Edmonds
  • March 14th is the 20th Henry Weinhard’s Saint Patrick’s Day Dash
  • RESO run totals will be at the April meeting.


Executive Directors Report/Brad Barquist

  • Paul Katzs is training with Team Eugene
  • Airline ticket was purchased for hammer thrower Scott Boothby for a meet at Stanford 
  • Power Bar’s deal may have come and gone with no decision made on our part.


Continuing/New Business/Membership


  • Tonight was Club Northwest annual meeting. The elections are held in three rounds. First round are for open three year board positions from #1-#9 tonight was for position #7, #8 and #9. Round two elections by the new group of nine board members for any additional one year at large board members. Round three elections are by and from the new whole board for positions.

In the first round Tony Robinson (position #8) and T.P. (position #9) were re-elected to the board. Ed Ledger went from an at-large position to a three- year term position #7 taking over for Rob Cook.

In the second round, Sarah Leonard and Regina Joyce were elected to a one year at large position.

In the third round Thornton (T.P.) Perry, Shelley Neal, Nick Fleming, were re-elected as President, Vice President and Secretary. Respectively. Treasurer will remain open as Rob Cook will not be returning. Bill Roe will due the duties at least though next month.  

  • Ed has been able to start calling members and updating the info.
  • The agreement with Brooks will not happen, as the cost to Club was too high.
