Have a Club NW membership that is valid through December 2010. If your membership expires before then, we'll ask you to renew, so that we can make sure everyone competing for us as a current member. http://www.clubnorthwest.org/index.php/membership/welcome-letter

Have a USA Track and Field membership affiliated with Club NW. This needs to be purchased no later than 2 weeks before the PNTF Championships. That is, if you want to run at PNTF. http://www.usatf.org/membership/?sc=TM
- Wear our uniform during the cross country meets we are sending a team to. Our uniform consists of our pumpkin orange Brooks singlet ($20) and navy blue shorts. We sell shorts but you may provide your own, and they may be any style as long as they are navy blue. We also sell warm-ups and a few other accessories, but the singlet is the only item you are required to purchase. These requirements are the same for men and women. 2010 CNW National Team Qualifying Standards
The Teams Committee has defined the qualification criteria for the men’s and women’s open teams for the 2010 XC season. Masters will be selected by the team’s committee based on performance and ability travel to the meet.
The criteria will be similar to years past, with the athletes competing for 4 positions based on points and 3 at large positions based on selection by the teams committee, for a total of 7 positions for each open team (men’s & women’s).
Scoring will use the best 2 of 3 qualifying meets, with PNTF champs counting double.
Athletes need to be CNW Members and be racing in uniform to count a race.
Scoring as follows:
* 1st Place scores 10 points (pnts), 2nd 9 pnts,…..10th is 1 pnt. Above 10th is 1 pt. DNF scores 0 pnts.
Qualifying meets are:
1. Sat., Oct 2: Seattle U Emerald City Open, we are co-hosts, Lower Woodland
2. Sat., Oct. 23 WWU Classic, 10k men, 6k women, Lake Padden, Bellingham (Masters can run USATF 5K champs in Vancouver)
3. Sun., Nov. 7 PNTF Champs, Lower Woodland or Magnuson Park
After PNTF the team will probably run the NW Regional meet to stay sharp prior to Nationals.
Sat., Nov. 20 NW Regional, Sandy, Oregon
Sat., Dec. 11 USATF Club Champs, Charlotte, NC
Our goal is to field the best possible team for Nationals. Final selections will be subject to approval by the Team’s Committee.
