Personal Info: John was born and raised in Gardiner MT, the son of a carpenter and the youngest in a family of four. Growing up he was heavily involved in many sports and John got got his start in running at 8 years old by entering a local road race. He had a knack for running and endurance sports and from that point on he was hooked.

Running opened the door to compete in collegiate athletics and professionally. Along the way he has accomplished many of his  goals, a few of his dreams, and he has learned valuable lessons that he carries with himself in all that he does. A valuable thing he has learned is, one’s greatest achievements in life are not those that are the most highly esteemed in the eyes of society, but are those that open the most doors of opportunity.

He has put in over 30,000 miles in training, and has run hundreds of races. God willing, he hopes to be blessed to continue in the pursuit as it brings joy to each day, hopefully in more lives than just his own.
