Personal Info: I played hockey and soccer growing up in Minneapolis.  Because my parents both were successful collegiate runners, they encouraged me to at least try track and field when I entered high school.  I was hesitant, but soon fell in love with the comradery and also having the ability to push myself as much as I wanted.  I entered the University of Minnesota as an 800m runner and left a steeplechaser.  After taking a year off after college, I joined Team USA Minnesota for two-and-a-half years until I moved to Seattle to join the Brooks Bests team.  After a year of injury, I am grateful to be getting back to racing with Club Northwest.
