WWU Cross Country Meet - Please sign up by the end of the day Monday, October 1st. I have to get the entries in by 5 on Tuesday, it's somewhat time consuming to enter new people into the DA system, and I coach in the afternoons, so I cannot be dealing with last minute Tuesday entries. If you are a "maybe" for the meet, go ahead and enter. It is easier to scratch than to add!

Please sign yourself up for the race on our XC link:

Post-meet BBQ Bash - The information Jerry gave out was last year's info. Please see below for this year's information. Please use the Google doc to enter the number of people in your family who will be attending so that our generous hosts can properly prepare. Also, food is provided, but BYOB. Please RSVP by Thursday, October 4.

What:  Come to Axton Road Bed and Breakfast after the WWU cross country race to celebrate the beginning of what promises to be another fantastic season for Club Northwest cross country racing!

Time:  After the last WWU cross country race finishes up On October 6th.

Directions:  Address is 5775 Schickler Lane, Bellingham, WA 98226
Basically you will go north on the Guide Meridian Road (SR 539), then turn right on E. Axton Rd.  Schickler Lane is a small gravel road on the left, go all the way to the end.  You will see parking pads at the end of the driveway, and halfway down, and you can also park along the driveway at the end.

Bring:  Yourself!  And also your fans who attend the race to cheer for Orange! (significant others, kids, etc.)  My parents and I will be cooking up a bunch of grillable eats and we'll also have plenty of healthy sides and non-alcoholic beverages.  Beer and wine will not be provided, but are both welcomed and encouraged!  I recommend a Costcutter run on your way up (right off the Guide Meridian) to purchase your favorite brew.

if you are having any trouble signing up for the meet or BBQ via Google, just let me know and we'll take care of it.

Also, the Seattle University Cross Country Meet at Lower Woodland Park in Seattle is Saturday, October 13. Please start signing up for this meet as well. The deadline to register for this meet will be Sunday, October 7.

This next race is a gem:  beautiful scenery and course and great BBQ afterwards.  Last year itwas the highlight of the season (except for Nationals, of course).  It is also the first points qualifier for our Men’s and Women’s Open A Teams for Nationals.  So if you can make it that would be great.
