How did you first get involved in Club? I was approached to join for Club nationals in 2002 in Rocklin California. Prior to that I was sponsored by other shoe companies and raced representing them (Reebok, Mizuno, then Brooks) My prior successes were on the roads and I tend to be a "rhythm" runner, meaning I can lock into a pace an just grind away...which is why I was so successful in the marathon. (Cross country is very different!) Because I felt I stunk at cross country, I guess I just avoided it. Anyway, I got talked into going that year and we masters women had to run a 10k.

Its time for the CNW Annual Meeting! This year's Annual Meeting will be Saturday, March 25th, at Brooks Headquarters in the 5th floor "Beastro" overlooking Lake Union. Each year the Annual Meeting provides a forum for all members to come together for an update on Club NW business, to elect new board members, and to catch up with old friends. Join us to celebrate 2016 and kick off 2017!

Women’s team titles went to the Pacific Northwest’s Club Northwest in the 40+ division  - TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- The women of the Boston Athletic Association showed their dominance once again, taking home the women’s open title at the 2016 USATF Club Cross Country Championships at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. In the open races, there were three new champions crowned in the final open championship of the 2016 season.
