Per-Event Details

  • The PR 800m (June 5) is paced 800m on the track at the usual 800m start time of 8:50pm. Details:

    • Please sign up here with your goal time by June 2 so we can assign pacers accordingly.

    • Pacers are NOT GUARANTEED - we will do our best to find pacers for a wide range of finish times, but our pacers are all volunteers often with their own training schedule.

    • All pacers are capable of running at least 400m of the race. They will run at most 600m and may not finish for timing purposes.

    • If you’d like to help pace, email us! Pacers receive free entry that week + a free entry for a future week.

  • TBA!

  • The PR Mile (June 19) is a paced mile race at the usual mile start time of 8:25pm. Details:

    • First heat is at 8:25pm. Heats will run slow to fast. Anticipated 2-3 heats.

Sign up here with your goal time by June 16 so we can assign pacers accordingly.

    • All pacers are capable of running 1200m of the race.

    • Pacers will drop out no later than 1300m of the race, and may not finish for timing purposes

  • Sprint Relay Night is a night of unusual and fun sprint formats. Sprint events for this night include:

    • Mixed Shuttle Hurdle relay

    • 60m dash

    • 4x200m

    • Sprint Medley Relay (1-1-2-4)

We are testing out this forma in 2024, let us know if you have any feedback!

  • The 10,000m will replace the usual 3000m as the distance event. Due to the logistics of coordinating so many special events, pacers will not be officially provided.

  • The Blue Jeans Mile (July 24) is a special heat of the normal mile run where Blue Jeans are required. A special trophy will be awarded to the top male and female finisher.

  • The PR 5000m (July 31) is paced 5000m on the track at the usual distance event start time of 9:10pm. Details so far:

    • Please sign up here with your goal time before July 7th so we can assign pacers accordingly.

    • Pacers are NOT GUARANTEED - we will do our best to find pacers for a wide range of finish times, but our pacers are all volunteers often with their own training schedule.

    • If you’d like to help pace, email us! Pacers receive free entry that week + a free entry for a future week.

  • Unhinged Mystery Baton 4x100m: Throw out the normal baton and use one of our ridiculous Mystery Batons!

    • In 2024, you will have 3 heat options: the “It’s slippery” heat, “It’s hot” heat, and “It’s clumsy” heat

    • Ridiculous footwear and attire strongly encouraged.

    • If you are seeking to run a competitive 4x100, you can indicate as such at event signup and we will run a “normal baton” heat.

Mystery Distance Event: A race where you don’t find out how long it is until the bell lap!

    • At 9:10pm, the gun will go off, but the race length will not be announced.

    • When the bell is rung, it’s the final lap. Sprint for home! Make sure to position yourself carefully before the bell lap.

    • The race distance will be anywhere from 800m to 3200m.

La Croix Mile: A 1 mile race, but each lap you must drink a 12fl oz can of La Croix (similar sparkling waters allowed).

    • Bring your own drinks! We will have spares, but don’t depend on it. Worst case - a 7-Eleven is a 3 minute drive from the track if you forget and we run out.

    • We will run ONE normal mile heat (regardless of size), and ONE La Croix Mile heat (regardless of size).

    • If you puke on approved surfaces including trash can or on any real (non-turf) grass, 60 seconds will be added to your finish time (schedule doesn’t allow for penalty laps). If your puke lands on any other surfaces, even partially, you will be DQed (but may still finish the race)! Big thanks to our facilities guy, George, for allowing this race.

    • Full regulations listed here.

    Mystery Distance replaces 5000m.

Mixed 4x400m relay will likely be replaced with something special.
