Drea grew up in the Seattle and during her senior year of high school, was convinced by her neighbor to give cross-country a try following a trail run together. It was love at first sight when it came to competitive running and she's been running ever since. She currently lives in Seattle with her husband, Paul, her daughter, Tova and her two cats, Kije and Simone.
