About
I began running in the 8th grade and haven't stopped since! In middle school I turned out for track and then would go home and run more miles on the trails near my house in Fall City, WA. In high school I discovered a deep love for the sport of running and the community that it creates. From 2006-2010 I spent an amazing 4 years at Seattle Pacific University where I studied English and competed on the cross country and track teams. I was blessed with great teammates, wise coaching, and a solid collegiate career where I competed at NCAA Nationals 11 times and took away several 2nd place finishes, a win in the indoor DMR my Sr. year, and most importantly, wonderful friendships and memories.
Since graduating from SPU, I have continued to pursue my dream of running and hopefully competing someday on a world-class level. I have been running for Club Northwest and the Brooks ID Elite team for the past 4 years now. I have run at the Club Track Outdoor National Championships and also at the Club XC National Championships several times and also have set PR's in outdoor track meets on the post-collegiate track circuit.
I hope to keep running fast on the track and also shift focus to the roads in the next few years. I feel very blessed to be able to extend my running career and be part of a team in Club Northwest. I look forward to what the future holds! Go Orange!! (:
