Career Highlights
I have run the USATF Club Cross Country championships for 18 years straight (2002-2019), the last 17 for Club, with my highest finish a 2nd place overall in 2003. I also have run 12 USA cross country championships (highest finish 3rd) and 3 USATF masters track championships (2003, 2008, 2010) with 3rd places in the 5,000m. Highlights are team wins in cross country multiple times.
About
I'm a native of NJ and graduated from Cornell University in 1982, where I captained the cross country team my junior and senior years and held the 10,000m record. I moved to Minnesota in 1983, attended law school and ran for Club Sota's cross country team which won the TAC team title in cross country 4 times. We moved to Oregon in 1995 and am a lawyer practicing juvenile dependency and criminal law. I have 3 grown children, of whom I am immensely proud, and a grumpy cat. I begged Club Northwest to let me join (getting a residency waiver from USATF) in 2003 and I have loved representing the club ever since. Hobbies include baking, and knitting, although I competed several years doing "urban adventure" races (combination of trivia, scavenger hunt and running).
