About

Short bio: Running, in some form, has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I competed for L-R, a small liberal arts college in the North Carolina foothills, then took an extended break from racing while completing my PhD in genetics and molecular biology at UNC-Chapel Hill. I started running competitively again during my postdoc in the Bay Area and joined Club Northwest when I moved to Seattle to work as a researcher at Seattle Children's. Training and racing with Club Northwest has been a true joy during my time in the PNW.
