About

I am very excited to join CNW after a long career of recreational/ fun running (via "training" in exclusively Z3 effort for max 5-8mi from ages 20-40. ha!). I was very happy to discover how to actually train in 2022 when prepping for my first "real" marathon (I ran one in med school many years ago and it was not my finest athletic moment... and I subsequently swore it off). My grand plan was to just run ONE marathon to qualify for/ run Boston and be done, and I was then hooked! I'm now enjoying running a variety of shorter distances & soft surface while trying to not re-break my back (which sidelined me for much of 2023), hence... Club Cross! It's really fun to re-discover the joy of things like track, cross country and the running community as a whole! And Boston is still out there sometime in the future ;)
