About
Laura grew up in Wisconsin with her identical twin sister. After high school, she moved to Southern California. She began running track and cross-country in the 10th grade, after retiring from a 10-yr career in competitive gymnastics. She earned her degree in Natural Science with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy and a minor in Business. She graduated from the University of Washington in June 2011 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is currently working at Experience Momentum as a physical therapist and is undergoing a fellowship for Applied Functional Science. You may recognize Laura from her column “The Rundown with Dr. Laura.” Laura has been an elite runner for CNW since 2009.
