Lauren grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and competed for Syracuse University for two years. After graduation, she moved to Illinois for dental school and practiced in Chicago. She is now a dentist in Renton, WA. Lauren has qualified for the Olympic marathon trials in both 2016 and 2020.
